Edward McDiarmid, Jr. has been promoted to full-time Cabling Technician at NetSource One. Ed brings with him a BICSI technician certification as well as 10 years of industry experience as both an estimator and installer. He also has experience in installing and splicing fiber optic cable.

6/19/2011 - NetSource One Welcomes Scott Trombly to our Systems Team.
Scott has two associates degrees from Delta college, one in Network Technology. He is working towards his Bachelors in Information System Analyst at Saginaw Valley State University. Scott has worked in the IT field for the past 3 years with Microsoft Desktop operating systems, Microsoft Servers, Citrix Terminal Services, Printer Endpoints, Novell, and limited exposure to Unix and Linux environments.

On April 5th, Andy Skrzypczak, President of NetSource One, participated in a Cisco Partner Operations Advisory Board Telepresence Event hosted at the Cisco office in Southfield, MI.

1/14/2011 - EqualLogic has been awarded “Best Storage System”
Dell continues to blaze new ways to deliver better iSCSI SAN performance and scalability. The market leader (in terms of delivered performance) added dynamic storage tiering to the Dell EqualLogic PS6010XVS iSCSI SAN via solid-state disks (SSDs), whose data is determined by firmware I/O analysis. This firmware tracks accesses to blocks and moves the most frequently accessed sectors to the SSD, in much the same way hybrid disks do on PCs. Our benchmarks showed this design brought improved performance that matched particularly well with the needs of virtualization. Improved support for VMware vSphere added to the superior performance of the Dell SAN, which peaked at an eye-popping 250MBps on writes.

7/27/2010 - Bay County Website Wins National Award!
NetSource One would like to congratulate Bay County, who has been ranked top ten in the nation for their use of technology in their organization, including the functionality of their web site, designed and hosted by Netsource One, as well as an Intranet application allowing county employees to access information online. NetSource One has also provided technology consulting and support for much of the information technology infrastructure, and developed the application for the electronic screens that provide court time and place information of cases to visitors of the courthouse.
